I am a photographer and journalist based in New York's Mid-Hudson Valley just outside of Woodstock. My photography has been published in books and magazines both nationally and internationally and my work has been honored with four first-place awards for investigative reporting from the New York Press Association, as well as additional awards for photography and design from this and other organizations. 

As a photographer, I bring my journalistic and fine art sensibilities to all that I do, whether it is a wedding or bar/bat mitzvah, garden and landscape images, corporate photography or exhibition pieces, balancing composition with a sense of intrigue and drama.

My wedding photography is unobtrusive, capturing the story and emotion of the day with little sense of a photographer ever having been present as I endeavor to preserve moments even the client may not remember. I blend portraits with group shots to ensure customers have a full range of images, from the most candid photographs to those for framing, but everything I do  — from the ceremony and portraits to your most intimate moments — has the natural and spontaneous feeling that is the signature of my work. One of the compliments I most love to hear at the end of the night is, "I barely knew you were here."

I offer a variety of packages, from a four-hour shooting that comes with a DVD of edited and color-corrected images to full coverage of the event, as well as various digital album options.
